Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre | Halls of Natural History
Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre (ASCC) is a new world-class museum district within Kuwait City. Visitors can enjoy six distinct experiences, each housed within their own buildings at the complex, which are a Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Museum of Islamic History, and Space Museum, as well as a Fine Arts Centre and Theatre. Each building contains an array of permanent and temporary world-class exhibits and artworks. Covering over 32 acres, the ASCC is the largest project of its kind in the world.
Blue Rhino Studio was commissioned to create exhibits for a portion of the massive halls of natural history in this new museum complex. These extinct animal reconstructions represent creatures as large as the legendary flying reptile Quetzalcoatlus and as small as the lap-dog sized anteater Eutamadua.
